Color Grading is a key element to take your films to the next level. When you begin to understand how you can push around footage, you can truly begin to express your creativity.

Level up

Want the most out of your image? It’s time to stop using LUTs. In our sessions, you’ll learn to build out a node tree that optimizes your cameras dynamic range, prevents crushing highlights/shadows and will take your footage to the next level.

Grow

As you learn and grow your color grading skills, you’ll learn things such as shot matching, creating custom looks and designing LUTs of your own.

What do sessions look like?

Each color grading session is broken down into hourly, in-person sessions. We will work through color grading techniques using DaVinci Resolve. From basic concepts like color correction, white balance, and LOG corrections to advanced tips for look creation, shot matching and creating your own LUTs. Each session will focus on working with footage shot by you, provided by Sam or from high end cinema cameras.
